16 August 2019 - Ferndale, Michigan

19th Ferndale Emergency Vehicle Show, 1 - 8 pm, in downtown Ferndale.  

On display during the course of the show will be around 100 emergency vehicles that will be comprised of ambulances, 

fire apparatus & police vehicles.  During the course of the show, the Ferndale FD will be offering “lift rides” utilizing their 

aerial platform.  At 5:30 P.M., all of the vehicles taking part in the emergency vehicle show will take part in a “Lights & 

Sirens” cruise.  The “Lights & Sirens” cruise is the kick off event for the Woodward Dream Cruise which takes place the 

very next day.  The “Dream Cruise” is the world’s largest one day car event with over one million people in attendance, 

and over 20,000 cars taking part in the cruise.

1 Firehouse Dr., noon - 3:30 pm. We are holding strong with this tradition & making each year better than before.  

Parade begins at 12:00 noon. It runs from Woodbridge Rd. at Rt.1A & travels through York Harbor, ending at the York 

Village monument.  Join us at Moulton Park in York Harbor on York St (Rt. 1A) for food, kids events, vendors & a classic 

New England Fireman's Muster.  

The general public is urged to attend & participate in the muster events.  Five people are needed to form a team.  Team

NOTE: The St Thomas Professional Firefighters Association in conjunction with the St Thomas Fire Muster Days 

committee, has come to the very difficult decision to CANCEL the Fire Muster Days scheduled for August 31st 2019.

22 September 2019 - East Greenwich, Rhode Island

The Rhode Island Antique Fire Apparatus Society, the Rhode Island chapter of the Society for the Preservation and 

Appreciation of Antique Motor Fire Apparatus in America (SPAAMFAA) will be holding its 15th Annual Antique Fire 

Apparatus and Equipment Show. 

Show will run from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm at the New England Institute of Technology East Greenwich campus, located 

at 1 New England Tech Blvd. Admission to the show is free. We will however be collecting new, unwrapped toys that 

will be distributed to needy families during the holiday season.

   The show will consist of a display of antique motorized fire apparatus & other fire memorabilia. There will be a Fire 

Safety Smoke House for children to go through. Smokey Bear & Sparky the Fire Dog are also scheduled to make an 

appearance during the show.

   Anyone who wishes to display fire apparatus can download a registration form 

or register online  (if your vehicle is insured, a scan of your insurance card will be required 

to be uploaded with your registration).   Deadline to register for the show is Sunday, September 8th.

Hamburgers, hot dogs, & refreshments will be available & RIAFAS souvenir t-shirts and hats will be sold during the

Hudson Department of Fire 164th Annual Inspection & Parade.  This year the 225th anniversary of New York State’s 

oldest active volunteer fire companies, J. W. Edmonds Hose Company No. 1 & H. W. Rogers Hose Company No. 2, will 

be celebrated. Inspection of the apparatus & firefighting equipment of Hudson's all volunteer fire department will begin 

at 6 PM on Friday at the J. W. Hoysradt Hose Company, No. 8 firehouse at 515 Warren Street.  

The 163rd Annual Inspection Parade will be held on Saturday, September 28th. Parade will line up on North 7th & State 

Streets beginning at 1 PM. Step off at 2 PM.

28 September 2019 - Herculaneum, Missouri

Jefferson County Firefighters Assoc., 26th Annual Jeffco Fire Engine Rally at Herculaneum City Park, 776 Joachim Ave., 

9 am - 3 pm. Rally begins with parade of fire & EMS apparatus at 9:00 am.  Parade will begin at St. Pius X High School 

& travel north on Highway 61-67 to the fairgrounds. 

      At 10:00 am, the opening ceremony will begin with a memorial service & a special 9/11 memorial. Rally will feature 

numerous fire apparatus and EMS vehicles on display, firefighter competitions, firefighter demos, air rescue helicopters, 

kids activities & numerous vendor booths.  Firefighter competitions will include Axe Throwing Contest & Giant Jenga. 

Dalmatian contest, scavenger hunt, face paintings, balloon artist & children's firefighter challenge.FD patch trading & 

selling will also be available.  Food, drink & other concessions will be available for purchase. No alcohol is permitted

Awards for truck categories & competition winners will be presented at closing ceremony. 

The event is open to the public and is free of charge.

NJ Fire Museum & Fallen Firefighters Memorial is hosting its’ 4th Annual Open House, Location: 4 Polhemustown Rd.,

10 am - 3 pm.  In 2016 it was the first time the collection had been seen in 40 years! Collection has over 60 antiques, 

contains examples of fire engines powered by hand, chemical reaction steam, gasoline and diesel fuel.

Light the Night for Fallen Firefighters.  Every October, the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation sponsors the National 

Fallen Firefighters Memorial Weekend, the official national tribute to those firefighters who died in the line of duty during 

the previous year. In 2017, the Foundation created Light the Night for Fallen FF'S to recognize the 25th anniversary 

of the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation & the National Fallen Fighters Memorial Weekend.

The Central Pennsylvania Chapter of the Antique Truck Club of America will hold Mack Day, Gerhart Equipment, 

910 Brunnerville Rd  Friday is a casual day when trucks arrive.  The show field is started to be filled as well as the 

vendor area.  Friday evening is when the Mack Brothers Clam Bake Reenactment takes place.

Village of East Davenport 6th Annual Fire Muster & Lights & Siren Parade. Fire truck & emergency vehicle lights & 

sirens parade starts at Modern Woodman Park at 11:30 am.  Should be circling the Village of East Davenport around 

noon.  Great entertainment for the kids.  Learn about fire safety, see Sparky the fire dog & enjoy all of the antique fire 

trucks.  Free event, but donations to the International Fire Museum are accepted.

6 October 2019 - Nationwide

Bells Across America.  Fire Departments sounded a series of bells when firefighters died in the line of duty to alert all 

members that a comrade had made the ultimate sacrifice.  This time-honored tradition continues today during funerals 

& memorial services for firefighters.  Bells will ring coast to coast as a grateful nation pauses to honor those firefighters 

who died in 2018 and previous years.

  The National Fallen Firefighters Foundation is asking communities, fire service organizations, and religious

organizations to help us honor our fallen firefighters by participating in Bells Across America for Fallen Firefighters.  

A moment of remembrance can occur any time during Memorial Weekend, October 5 - 6. 

Fire department representatives are encouraged to work with their clergy and community leaders to develop an 

appropriate ceremony.



6 October 2019 - Manheim, Pennsylvania

1st annual Mack CF & Mack fire apparatus family picnic & meet & greet. 11 am, 3133 Pirsh Rd..Open to anyone who 

owns or loves Mack fire apparatus. Food and Drinks provided. Anyone is welcome to bring your Mack to display. There 

will be some unique bulldogs on display & some special guests as well. We will be asking for a $10.00 per adult & $5.00 

per child donation to cover our food and drink costs. This is a all u can drink and eat event but ask everyone to drink  

responsibly. If any profits are obtained the money will be donated to the Reading area fire museum & the Old Fire Farts 

of York Pa. There’s tons of motels within 2 miles and a campground adjacent to the location. The huge Mack show at 

Gerharts in Lititz is the day before. Come out to that & spend the weekend here. We are looking forward to meeting new 

friends and talking with old ones. This will be a great time for all and is a family friendly event. There will be some very
