The exhibit tells the stories of the early Dublin firefighters from the 1960s through the 1990s. It includes artifacts from the Valley Community Service District/Dublin San Ramon Services District, Santa Rita Jail, Camp Parks, and Dougherty Regional Fire District fire departments. 3 - 7 March 2026 - San Antonio, Texas The San Antonio Fire Museum is proud to host the 2026 SPAAMFAA Winter Conference This year's gathering promises to be both memorable and meaningful, blending SPAAMFAA tradition with the unique culture and history of one of America’s most iconic cities. 6 June 2026 - Westminster, Maryland The Chesapeake Antique Fire Apparatus Association, a chapter of SPAAMFAA, will host their Annual Maryland Antique Fire Apparatus Spring Muster at the Pleasant Valley CFC in Carroll County, MD. We encourage all apparatus owners to attend. Each pre-registrant will receive one participation plaquefor each paid registration. The Pleasant Valley Auxiliary will have breakfast and lunch food available for purchase. There will be complete restroom facilities in the fire station. 8 August 2026 - Chesapeake Beach, Maryland The North Beach Volunteer Fire Department is calling all fire departments and antique apparatus owners to join us in celebrating our 100 years of service with a parade and muste . The parade lineup will begin 10:00 a.m. in North Beach, with step-off at 11:00 a.m. The parade route will travel along the North Beach Boardwalk with units continuing to the fire station at 8536 Bayside Road, for a static muster. The muster will run from Noon to 4:00 p.m., and include food trucks, NBVFD history displays, judging, & awards. Fire memorabilia vendors are welcome. 16 - 19 August 2026 - Mansfield, Ohio 35th anniversary of the National Fire Museum Network Seminar, Mansfield Fire Museum. It creates an opportunity for curators of these museums to network with others and share ideas with one another which they may learn and incorporate into their own environment. Although meetings and meals will take place at the Museum located at 1265 West 4th Street, the conference will be held at the Mid-Ohio Conference Center at 890 West 4th Street in Mansfield. In addition to the seminar, a field trip is planned to the Central Ohio Fire Museum in Columbus and yes, what would a trip to Mansfield be without a visit to the Ohio State Reformatory, where Shawshank Redemption was filmed.
